Attention!

Please read all information below and the general product information before purchasing.
Not intended for use in food, vape liquids or other internal use.
Intended to be mixed with other fragrances: on its own the scent can be dull or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on the skin: it is a raw material, not a finished product.

Use

Neononyl acetate (Sym) has a green spicy floral scent reminiscent of iris and violet, with aspects of raspberry, mint and lavender. The scent is not particularly strong, undiluted use is common. Typical use is in floral accords, especially iris and violet. You usually use between 0,1% and 10% of this substance in the fragrance composition, but a little more is not a problem. It combines well with fruit, green scents and citrus, but also with wood and flowers such as lavender and iris. In perfumes it is mainly a top note, it is stable in most products, including soap.

Store in a cool, dry, dark place and out of the reach of children.

Properties

Neononyl acetate (Sym) is a colourless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature. The purity is at least 98% and the substance has a fairly long shelf life. It does not occur in nature, it is a synthetic product. The manufacturer is the German Symrise.
The same molecule is sold under various other names, but a slight difference in scent is always possible. Other names include Vanoris (from IFF), isononyl acetate and nonisyl acetate.
