Isoamyl acetate (nat) has a fruity odour reminiscent of, for example, banana or ripe pear. The smell is not particularly strong, undiluted use is common. Typical use is in fruit accords, such as those of banana, pear and tropical fruit. You usually use between 0,1% and 2% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with other fruit scents, as well as fruity floral scents. In perfumes it is an absolute top note, the scent is almost gone from the blotter within a minute. It is not stable in soap, nor in acidic products like many deodorants.
Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.

Isoamyl acetate (nat) is a colourless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature. The purity is at least 98% and the substance has a fairly long shelf life. It occurs in nature, including in various fruits. The product we sell is of natural according to regulation 1334/2008 of the EU and according to ISO standard 9235, for that reason we have put (nat) after the product name. The manufacturer is the French Naturamole. This company uses micro-organisms and enzymes, among other things, to convert vegetable raw materials into fragrance materials.
