Mortar and pestle porcelain 70 mm

Description

Porcelain mortar and pestle, for crushing powders, herbs and the like.

Use

A mortar and pestle is used for crushing small amounts of solids. Put a small amount of the substance or herb to be shredded into the mortar and rub it over with the pestle. You can rub both wet and dry. When rubbing wet, you also put a liquid in the mortar, for example alcohol, in addition to the substance. Wet rubbing is useful if you want to make a solution, or an extract.

Cleaning can be done with a hard brush or an abrasive sponge. Mortar and pestle are resistant to most cleaning agents and many chemicals.

Properties

Porcelain mortar with an outer diameter of 70 mm, internally roughened. The content is about 40 ml, suitable for about 15 ml, as much as a tablespoon, of material. Matching porcelain pestle with roughened head, length about 115 mm.
