Educational set making two colour bath oil

A set to make two colour bath oil with the class. We recommend this set for students aged 8-14. As an activity in the classroom you can fill part of an hour with it, depending on organization and preparation you should count on 10-30 minutes. Very suitable as an activity on door open days, if well organized it will be ready in a few minutes.

The two colour bath oil consists of a layer of glycerine that is coloured red with HexaCol red and a layer of HexaCol oil green coloured soy oil that floats on it. Bornyl acetate provides a pleasant, modest pine scent and the crystal-clear plastic packaging ensures that the attractive contents are clearly visible. Tocoferol protects the soybean oil against the effect of oxygen from the air. A label is not included because we like the bottle without a label. The oil can simply be used as a bath oil, but is of course primarily intended for education; things like hydrophilic/hydrophobic, polarity and density can be illustrated with the help of this product.

The set contains all raw materials, packaging (jars) and materials for mixing, such as measuring cups and pipettes. In addition, a worksheet for student and teacher. We supply this set for groups of 12, 35 or 100 people with the following contents:

A conscious choice has been made for single-use materials so that no use has to be made of beakers and other items that are used for other practicals. This prevents any toxic substances from ending up in the bath oil.
