EO Davana is an essential oil, intended for use as an aroma chemical in, for example, perfume or shower gel.

Usage

The fragrance of EO Davana is unique and special: an herbal berry scent with green and camphor-like aspects, in addition to some rose and spicy scents. EO Davana goes well with the scent of herbs and spices, but also gives spice to fruity perfumes. It complements rose, in addition it gives a special tone to chypres and amber perfumes. In perfumes, it is primarily a heart note. The stability in soap is not well described in the literature, but probably good due to its composition.

The scent of davana oil is very strong and can easily dominate. For that reason, making a 10% dilution makes sense. Store cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.

Properties

EO Davana is an orange to brown liquid. The oil has a long shelf life. Davana is the name of an herb from the same family as mugwort and wormwood. The essential oil is made by steam distillation of the herb. Our davana oil - like almost all davana oil - comes from India.

Indication of the composition:
> 25% - Davanon
5-10% - Nerol
3-5% - Hydroxydavanon, Isodavanon
1-2% - Artemon, Cinnamyl Cinnamate, Davana Ether, Davanafuraan, Davana Acid, Nordavanon

Nothing has been added to the oil, it is 100% pure essential oil.

Danger

Like almost every essential oil, EO Davana is classified as dangerous, with the following properties:

WARNINGS
H304 - May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

The oil contains, among other things, linalool, a substance that some people react allergic to.

The 20 g and 50 g packaging is not supplied to private individuals, because we have not found suitable packaging with a child-resistant closure. The latter is mandatory for this product, when delivering to private individuals.
