EO Ylang ylang complete (org)

EO Ylang ylang complete (org) is an organic essential oil, used as an aroma chemical in perfume or soap.

Use

EO Ylang ylang complete (org) has a distinctive floral scent, reminiscent of jasmine and other tropical white flowers. Not everyone will like the smell of the oil: it is strong and pungent. When diluted, the floral scent emerges. It can be useful to make a dilution of 10-25%. Ylang ylang oil can be used in many types of scents, for example to make the floral scent of jasmine and gardenia compositions fuller and more natural. It is also a fragrance that can connect top and heart notes, making the transition less sharp. It is quite stable and can be used in soap.

Properties

EO Ylang ylang complete (org) is a yellow liquid at room temperature, the oil has a long shelf life. Ylang oil is made in a special way: the distillation takes several hours and every now and then the oil is drained. The first drained oil is called ylang ylang extra, the second ylang ylang I, the third ylang ylang II and the last ylang ylang III. Mix them again to get ylang ylang complete.

Like any essential oil, it is also a mixture of various substances.

The following is an indication of the composition:
10-25% - Benzyl Acetate, Benzyl Benzoate, Germacreen D, Linalool
5-10% - p-Cresyl methyl ether, Farnseol, Geranyl acetate
2-5% - Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol

Packaging

The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a child-resistant black cap. The 250 g packaging is made of aluminium with a stopper and white cap. Because the latter is not child safe, we can only sell this packaging to companies. We can sell the 10 and 50 ml bottle to private individuals.

Warnings

EO Ylang ylang complete (org) is classified as a hazardous substance, with the following characteristics: DANGER
H304 - May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
H315 - Causes skin irritation.
H317 - May cause an allergic skin reaction.
H319 - Causes serious eye irritation.
H412 - Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
The oil contains the allergenic substances benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, isoeugenol and linalool.
