Helional (IFF)

Helional (IFF) is a fragrance and trademark of IFF. We also sell the IFF quality. Helional (IFF) has a fresh scent reminiscent of algae, watermelon, ozone and light green floral scents. Since its market introduction in the late 1960s, it has been used in many famous perfumes, first often in combination with Hedione, later with Calone. It is a liquid and is readily soluble in alcohol. The scent is not super strong, so you can use a lot of it in your mixture, although the effect on the final mixture is often greater than the scent strength would suggest. It is mainly a heart note. Fine to use in scented candles, it can be used in soap, but the stability is not great.
