Not intended for use in food, vape liquids or other internal use.
Intended to be mixed with other fragrances: on its own, the scent can be boring or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on the skin: it is a raw material, not a final product.
Use
Labdanum resinoid 45% in TEC has the same spicy woody scent as pure resinoide. Further dilution with TEC is certainly possible, but rarely necessary. The dilution is almost always liquid and therefore much easier to use than the pure resinoide. You use it in amber accords that, strictly speaking, you always make with a labdanum extract; the amber accord consists of labdanum and vanillin. You usually use between 0,1% and 10% of this substance in the fragrance composition, but certainly in amber bases you can use much more. It goes well with other amber substances, wood, spicy scents and many types of flowers. In perfumes it is mainly a base note with good fixing properties and is stable in many products. You can use it in soap, but certainly if you use a warm process, this can also be done with the pure resinoid.
The solution is usually liquid, is syrupy but somewhat pourable, if necessary after heating in a bain-marie. It cannot be ruled out that the resin will partly crystallise, especially in winter or if it has been stored too cool. Smaller or larger pieces of resin will then end up in the solution, this can also normally be dissolved by heating in a bain-marie. Store this product at room temperature.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place and out of reach of children.
Properties
Labdanum resinoid 45% in TEC is a dark brown to black liquid at room temperature. The substance has a fairly long shelf life, provided it is stored in a cool, dry and dark place (NOT in the refrigerator).
The extract is made from the resin that occurs on the leaves and stems of a certain type of rock rose (Cistus ladanifer L.). The plant is found in Spain and Portugal, among other places, and is widely cultivated there for the production of labdanum. The resin is dissolved in alcohol, what does not dissolve is filtered out. The alcohol is removed and what remains is the resinoide. This resinoide is then dissolved in TEC, so that the end product contains approximately 55 grams of TEC and approximately 45 grams of labdanum resinoide per 100 grams.

Sustainability
Labdanum resinoid 45% in TEC is largely made from plant materials, the remaining part (citric acid in the TEC) comes from microbiological processes. It is completely biodegradable in the environment. Growing plants for making resinoide and solvent requires soil and water.
Packaging
The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a black cap. The larger packaging is made of aluminium with a white cap. The aluminium bottles do not have a child-resistant closure and can therefore not be supplied to private individuals. The bottles are supplied without drip inserts, for small quantities it is best to use dropper pipettes.
