Description
Anethole natural is a fragrance isolated from plants such as anise and fennel. Use this fragrance in, for example, perfumes or cosmetics.
Use
Anethol has the fresh, green, spicy scent of anise and fennel. The odour is medium strong, anethole can therefore be used undiluted. It combines well with green and herbal scents, such as lavender. In addition, it fits very well in the compositions of anise flowers such as cassie, mimosa and hawthorn. Of course it is the first choice if the smell of anise or licorice is desired. It is a top note, sometimes heart note in perfumes, and is stable in most products, including tricky ones like soap and deodorant.
Properties
Anethole natural is an isolate: it is made in certain plants and isolated from them. It is therefore a natural fragrance by most definitions, including ISO 9235. It is a colourless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature. The substance has a fairly long shelf life.
Packaging
The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a black cap. The 250 g package is made of aluminium with a white cap.
