Description
Habanolide Subst (Fir) is a fragrance for use in, for example, perfume, shampoo and candles.
Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.
As 'Subst' indicates, it is a replacement for the pure Habanolide. Firmenich was unable or unwilling to sell the pure Habanolide freely on the market for a while and therefore devised this mixture, which consists of approximately 25% Habanolide. In addition, it contains other fragrances that enhance and support the character of Habanolide. The original Habanolide seems stronger than this mixture, so existing formulations will often have to use a bit more Habanolide Subst (Fir) than in the original. Over time, we may exchange this mixture for the original.
Many people are anosmic to one or more musk odorants (ie can't smell them), so musk odourants are usually combined with each other to make sure everyone at least smells musk.
WARNING
H411 - Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
The mixture contains a small amount of delta muscenone, a substance that some people have an allergic reaction to.
INCI: PERFUME
Use
Habanolide Subst (Fir) is a musky fragrance. The smell is quite strong, making a dilution of, for example, 10% can therefore be useful. Typical use is in musk accords, for example with ethylene brassylate and zenolide. You usually use between 0,2% and 10% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with other musk scents, and can be used wherever you want a musky scent. It is primarily a base note in perfumes and is stable in most products, including soap.Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.
