Attention!
Please read all information below and the general product information before purchasing.
Not intended for use in food, vape liquids or other internal use.
Intended to be mixed with other fragrances: on its own the scent can be dull or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on the skin: it is a raw material, not a finished product.
Use
Essential oil Cedarwood Atlas has a woody scent, which is initially somewhat animalic sweet with a hint of mint at the top. An oil that is not particularly strong and therefore does not need to be diluted before mixing. It goes well with other wood scents, but also with amber, fougère and leather. It has a beautiful and distinctive cedarwood scent. You usually use between 0,1% and 10% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It is primarily a base note in perfumes and is stable in most products, including soaps.
Store cool, dry and dark.
Properties
Essential oil Cedarwood Atlas is a yellow to orange-brown liquid at room temperature. The substance has a fairly long shelf life. The oil is made by steam distillation from the wood of the Cedrus atlantica (Endl.) G.Manetti ex Carriere. Like any essential oil, it is also a mixture of various substances. An indication of the composition is the following:
> 25% - beta Himachalene, Himachalol
10-25% - alpha Himachalene, gamma Himachalene
2-5% - alpha trans Atlantone, alpha Cedrene
For all raw materials, but certainly the more natural ones, the scent, colour and other properties can vary within a certain bandwidth from batch to batch and over time.

Sustainability
This fragrance material is made from renewable raw materials. The plants from which this oil is made are not fertilized with artificial fertilizers and without or with minimal use of pesticides. Making an essential oil takes energy. The degradability in the environment is poor.
Packaging
The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a child-resistant black plastic (PP) cap. The 250 g packaging is made of aluminium with a white plastic (PP) cap. The latter is not supplied to private individuals because a child-resistant cap does not fit on it.
Closing is always with regular caps, for dosing small quantities we recommend the use of plastic pipettes.
