Description

Palmarosa is a type of grass native to India and Pakistan, but today it is grown worldwide, climate permitting. Our essential oil Palmarosa is made from palmarosa grass, for which no artificial fertilizers were used and no or minimal use of pesticides. The essential oil is extracted from the grass by steam distillation. The botanical name is Cymbopogon martinii.

Indication of the composition:
> 25% - Geraniol
5-10% - Geranyl acetate
1-2% - beta Caryophylene, Farnesol, Ocimene, Linalool

Essential oil Palmarosa is usually a heart note in perfumes. It gives a green, dry, light rose scent. It is a very important fragrance in natural perfumes.
It blends well with most other essential oils, especially floral oil, and is very stable in soap.

Our palmarosa oil is a pure natural essential oil.

Palmarosa oil irritates the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Lung damage can occur when choking. It contains citral, farnesol, geraniol, limonene and linalool, substances to which some people have an allergic reaction.
