Sylvamber (DRT) is an aromachemical for use in, for example, perfume, cosmetics and scented products.

Use

Sylvamber (DRT) is from the same family as Iso E Super (IFF) and Timbersilk (IFF). The fragrance is a combination of amber and wood, but the main reason for using it is the effect. It provides a rich, long-lasting fragrance and harmonizes the fragrance. Sylvamber can therefore be used in larger quantities in almost any fragrance composition, as an alternative to Iso E Super. It is primarily a base note in perfumes and stable in soap. Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.

Properties

Sylvamber (DRT) is a clear colourless or slightly yellow liquid. It contains on average more of the much-loved gamma isomer than Iso E super or Timbersilk. This gamma isomer is responsible for the effect of all these substances. The substance is synthetic, but based on vegetable pinene. The manufacturer is the French DRT.

Packaging

The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a black cap. The 250 g and 1 kg pack is made of aluminum with a stopper and a white cap. The 4.8 kg pack is made of plastic (HDPE) with a black cap (jerry can).
