You use this substance for wood and orris aspects in the top, or as a universal background scent: very versatile. You can use it in fougeres, chypres, citrus, greens, many if not all florals, woods. It goes with just about anything, it's hard to think of a fragrance composition it wouldn't fit into. You usually use between 0,1% and 30% of this substance in the fragrance composition. In perfumes it is mainly a top note, it is stable in most products, including soap.
