Use
para Cresylphenyl acetate has a somewhat animalic scent reminiscent of flowers such as daffodil and hyacinth. The scent is not particularly strong, but because it is a solid, making a dilution of, for example, 10% is practical. Typical use is in floral accords, especially of jasmine, daffodil and hyacinth. You usually use between 0.1% and 1% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with animal floral scents, but also with leather and other animal scents. It adds warmth and depth to the scent. In perfumes it is mainly a base note. The stability is not bad.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place and out of reach of children.
Properties
para Cresylphenyl acetate is a colourless to yellow crystal powder at room temperature. The purity is at least 99% and the substance has a fairly long shelf life. It does not occur in nature.

Packaging
