Fragrance raw material
Description
OTBCHA is an aromachemical we used to sell as Verdox (IFF). Verdox is an IFF tradename, however the IFF product is not available anymore. It is a synthetic fragrance that is not or hardly found in nature.
OTBCHA is a clear to pale yellow liquid, sometimes solid in winter. It has a non-dominant, unspecific green, fruity scent. It is mainly a top note. OTBCHA is a heavily underestimated fragrance, as it is a very good building block for almost any perfume with green, fruity elements and is often used in larger quantities. Examples: OTBCHA can be used with the scent of apple, pear, melon, (green) tea, lime, lemon, green kitchen herbs, conifer scents and various others.
It is not necessary to make a dilution, it does not dominate quickly and is often used in larger percentages. Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.
OTBCHA is classified under the REACH/CLP regulation as a hazardous substance with the following characteristics:
Warning.
H411 - Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
An allergic reaction is uncommon.
The Dutch name is also OTBCHA (or Verdox (IFF)).
