Use
Majantol (Sym) has a floral scent reminiscent of lily of the valley. The scent is not particularly strong, undiluted use is common. Typical use is in green floral accords, especially of lily of the valley. You usually use between 0,1% and 8% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with other green scents, but also with many types of floral scents. In perfumes it is mainly a base note.
The advantage of Majantol (Sym) compared to many other lily of the valley substances is its great stability, it can be used in many products, including soap and acidic products.
Allergen
IFRA and the European cosmetics legislation consider this an allergenic substance. However, the ECHA, the organization that classifies hazardous substances, considers it a substance that is only harmful to aquatic organisms. It is an example of experts who do not agree with each other, or use different standards, and that sometimes happens.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place and out of reach of children.

It meets the IFRA requirement that it may contain a maximum of 25 ppm organochlorine compounds. It does not occur in nature, it is a synthetic substance. The manufacturer is Symrise.
This fragrance will not smell good to everyone: certainly in pure form and without other fragrances. It is also conceivable that it works one time and not the next, one batch works and the other batch does not.
