Please note!
Before purchasing, please read the information below and the general product information.
Not intended for use in food, vape liquids or other internal use.
Intended to be mixed with other fragrances: on its own, the scent may be dull or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on skin: it is a raw material, not a finished product.
Use
Linalyl acetate has a fresh, somewhat green floral fragrance reminiscent of lavender and bergamot. The scent is not very strong, and undiluted use is common. It is a very versatile fragrance ingredient that can be used in almost any perfume and fragrance composition. You usually use between 1% and 30% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with almost everything. It adds a not too pronounced note with fresh, green and floral aspects. In perfumes, it is mainly a top note and it is quite stable. It can also be used in soaps, but it can be problematic in very acidic products.
Keep cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.
Properties
Linalyl acetate is at room temperature a colourless to light yellow liquid. The purity is at least 97% and the substance has a relatively long shelf life. It occurs in nature in various plants and therefore also in many types of essential oil. For use as a fragrance, the synthetic version is used. We usually supply the product from Symrise (Linalyl acetat coeur), but occasionally it may come from another supplier.
