Description

Caution!
Before purchasing, read all the information below and the general product information.
Not intended for use in food, vape liquids, or other internal use. Intended for mixing with other fragrances: on its own, the scent can be dull or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on the skin: it is a raw material, not a finished product.
Use
Isoamyl isovalerate has a fruity scent that initially resembles ripe apple, but later becomes more reminiscent of banana and other sweet, tropical fruits. The scent is not particularly strong; undiluted use is common. It is typically used in fruity accords, especially apple, pear, and tropical fruits. It can also be used in the fragrance of brandy, cognac, and chocolate, or in sweet floral scents with a green note, such as rose, gardenia, and violet. It is typically used between 0,1% and 10% in fragrance compositions. In perfumes, it primarily serves as a base note. It is a volatile ester, making it unsuitable for use in soaps, candles, powders, and products with a high or low pH.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place, and out of reach of children.
Properties
Isoamyl isovalerate is a colourless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature. Its purity is at least 99%, and the substance has a relatively long shelf life. It occurs naturally, but the synthetic version is used for fragrances. This is largely based on plant-based raw materials.
