Attention!

Before purchasing, read all information below and thegeneral product information.
Not intended for use in food, vape liquids or other internal use.
Intended to be mixed with other fragrances: on its own, the scent can be boring or even unpleasant.
Do not use undiluted on the skin: it is a raw material, not a finished product.
Will be shipped asdangerous in transport (ADR), so returns are probably not possible.

Use

Allyllamyl glycolate has a green fruity scent that is reminiscent of aspects of pineapple, but also galbanum. The scent is not particularly strong, so undiluted use is common. Typical use is in fruit accords, not just pineapple: it can also be used in apples, strawberries and many other types of fruit. You usually use less than 1% of this substance in the fragrance composition, but it certainly lends itself to higher doses. IFF has been writing for years that it adds a modern spark to every fragrance. That 'modern' may be a bit outdated now, but the spark is not. In perfumes it is mainly a heart note and is stable in most products, including soap.

Still make a solution: 10% in DPG works fine. Store in a cool, dry, dark place and out of reach of children.

Properties

Allyl amyl glycolate is colourless to light yellow at room temperature. The purity is at least 98%. The substance has a fairly long shelf life and does not occur in nature. The manufacturer of our product is IFF, although it may occasionally be a different one if that would suit. After production, the product complies with the requirement of the European cosmetics legislation (Annex III / 147) and IFRA that it contains a maximum of 0.1% free allyl alcohol. Of course, it is possible that the content will increase over time due to deesterification.

Packaging

The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a child-resistant black cap.
