Description
Polysorbate 20 is a raw material for cosmetics, but also for some other products.
Take hair gel for example: the gel itself is based on water. You could use polysorbate to scent this aquatic product. To make 1 gram of fragrant miscible with water, first mix this with 4 to 6 grams of polysorbate. This mixture of polysorbate and fragrance is then miscible with water in any ratio. The dose of polysorbate mainly depends on the composition of the fragrance or active ingredient. This differs and should be tried every time.
In addition, it can be used as a co-emulsifier in creams, follow a suitable formula for this. Besides cosmetics, it is also used in various products. Examples include photographic mixtures, paint and cleaning agents.

Formula
A simple formula for a bath essence with polysorbate: First mix 15 grams of essential oil, perfume oil or homemade fragrance composition with 85 grams of polysorbate 20. Then stir well and the bath essence is ready!Pour a small splash of this bath essence into the bath: the bath will smell wonderful.
Properties
Polysorbate 20 is a viscous, oily liquid with a pale yellow to yellow colour and a slightly greasy odour. Polysorbate has a long shelf life. The substance is also known under the trade name Tween 20. Polysorbate is made from fats, sugars and petroleum components. Store it cool, dry, dark and out of reach of children.Packaging
