E-wax Hx is an emulsifier for creams.

Use

This emulsifier is intended for making cosmetics such as creams and body lotion. The emulsifier is used in the (or a) fat phase, use 4-7 grams of emulsifier per 100 grams of cream.

Other types of E-wax

Similar products are offered under various other names, such as Tefose, emulsifying wax or ewax. Emulsifying wax, however, is a collective name. Emulsifying waxes are unfortunately not always interchangeable. It may be that one emulsifying wax works in a formula and another does not. It is therefore regrettable that in formulas you often find nothing more than 'emulsifying wax', without indicating which ones exactly.

Properties

The emulsifier consists of almost white oily flakes. The raw materials are largely vegetable, partly petrochemical. It contains no animal raw materials. We pack it in sealed plastic (LDPE) bags.

Store it cool, dry and dark.

Hazards

This substance is not classified as dangerous. We recommend to handle and store all raw materials with care, outside the reach of children.
