Apricot kernel oil (org) is a fatty oil, for use in creams and other cosmetics.

Use the oil for making cosmetics, such as creams, massage oil and skin serum.

Properties

The oil is made from the kernels of apricots left over from processing the pulp. The apricots that have been used are organically grown.

The oil is very similar in composition to sweet almond oil and shares many properties. The oil is quite stable and also gives a pleasant skin feeling. The oil also spreads reasonably over the skin. Try the oil: if you like it, it is a good oil for you.
Like almost any other oil, apricot kernel oil (org) is suitable for any skin type, traditionally it is more common for normal or slightly dry skin.

The oil is not refined, however, the natural odour of the oil is limited and will not be a problem in many applications.

Vegetable oil can become (partly) solid, especially in the cold season. As a result, the oil appears cloudy, it contains solid pieces in the form of lumps or long strings. It is often sufficient to allow the oil to reach room temperature well, sometimes it is necessary to heat the oil au-bain marie for a while.
