EO Petitgrain mandarine is an essential oil, used as an aroma chemical in perfume or after shave, etc.

Use

EO Petitgrain mandarine has a somewhat bitter citrus scent, which is primarily reminiscent of green mandarins, in addition to a clearly strong animal and phenolic scent, as is characteristic of daffodils. It is not a very strong odour; therefore, dilution is not necessary. It combines well with citrus and certain floral scents, such as orange blossom, jasmine and bulbous flowers (daffodils, tulips, etc.). Moreover, it complements the smell of leather: it adds a natural aspect to it. It is mainly a heart note in perfumes, but can sometimes also be used as a base note. Keep cool, dry and dark.

Properties

EO Petitgrain mandarine is a yellow to orange-red liquid, the substance has a long shelf life. The oil is made from the leaves of the mandarin tree by steam distillation. Like any essential oil, it is also a mixture of various substances.

The following is an indication of the composition:
25% - Terpinene range
10-25% - Linalool
5-10% - Limonene, Sabineen
2-5% - para Cymene, Ocimene, Myrcene, alpha Pinene, Terpinene-4-ol
1-2% - beta Elemene, methyl N-methylanthranilate, beta Sinensal, gamma Terpinene, alpha Terpineol

Packaging

The 10 and 50 ml packaging is made of brown glass with a black child-resistant cap. The 250 g packaging is made of aluminium with a stopper and white cap. Unfortunately, the latter cannot be supplied to private individuals due to the lack of the child-resistant closure.
