Use

Petri dishes consist of two dishes with a straight upright edge. The top shell covers the bottom one and prevents dust from getting into the bottom shell. Originally they were used for the cultivation of micro-organisms, but there are various other uses such as presentation of small objects or decorative use.

These petri dishes are made of clear, uncolored lime soda glass.
